Cylinder Head (400 Casting) 

These cylinder heads are SINGLE VANOS cylinder heads.
The casting number is 1738400.
This cylinder head is interchangeable with the 070 cylinder heads.

***Please add a note about your chassis/year/model, for us to ensure the cylinder head is set up correctly for you.

Chassis models:
1993 – 1998 BMW 325 328 525 528 M3 Z3M models
Engines models:
(M50TU, M52, S50 (US), S52)

Note: This does not fit a 1999 528i (See 793 head listing)

These cylinder heads come complete with valves, springs, studs, and new valve stem seals.
Cams, cam trays, and lifters can be installed upon special request. (Additional fees may apply)
IMPORTANT: Make sure the lifters have been bled and the pistons move freely in the lifters. Skipping this step could result in damage to the valve.

1 Year unlimited mileage warranty on all cylinder heads.
To maintain this warranty, we have installed a heat tab to signify if any overheating has occurred. If the heat tab is melted, removed, or altered, this will signify that the head has overheated again.
It is recommended to find the original fault that caused your initial overheating. Doing so will prevent overheating your replacement cylinder head.

*If your core is not returned to us within 30 days of receiving your replacement cylinder head, your warranty is not valid.
